Advantages
In addition to the Canadian Production Service Tax Credit (PSTC), the favorable Canadian currency allows productions to get more value for their dollar when shooting in Canada. Our robust infrastructure can accommodate productions of any size, supported by some of the most talented film and TV professionals and performers.
Locations
Canada offers diverse landscapes, from the oceans along our coastlines to the epic mountainous regions, prairie landscapes in the interior, and vibrant city centers throughout. Some very popular locations for shooting include Old Montreal, which feels like Europe; Toronto, known for its cosmopolitan city center; and Interior BC, perfect for rugged nature settings.
Previous Clients
At Pink Buffalo Films, we’ve had the privilege of producing a diverse range of projects, including feature films such as Grave Encounters 1 & 2 and Extraterrestrial, along with compelling feature documentaries like Beyond the Break and Chez Monique. We’ve also provided production services for acclaimed films like Rememory, Story of a Girl, and most recently, Rock Springs.
Our work extends to television as well, where we serviced and produced two seasons of the critically acclaimed anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories for Warner Bros. Studios.
Currently in post-production, Rock Springs is an indie feature created for Macro Media and Mandalay Entertainment. We also served as the main production company for the feature documentaries Beyond the Break and Chez Monique. For projects like Rememory—an indie later sold to Lionsgate—and Story of a Girl, produced for A&E, we managed both production services and full production responsibilities.
