Producing in one of the most geographically diverse countries

Peru is one of the most geographically diverse countries in the world. A hidden gem, a box full of surprises, yet to be discovered by filmmakers looking for unique and uncharted locations.

Here you will find vast coastal deserts, impressive Andean highlands, multiple jungle settings and exceptionally well-preserved ancient ruins. And these are only some of the many location options to choose from.
With a talented and experienced local bilingual crew, APU PRODUCTIONS can successfully deliver every time, even when given the most challenging tasks. The country is incredibly rich in history and culture, and its locations will fulfill any production’s needs.

Maybe that was one of the reasons "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts" was shot in Peru. This project was quite a feat as it has been the biggest movie shot in Peru up to date. More than 30 vehicles were shipped to Peru. Directed by Steven Caple Jr. the new Transformers movie is said to have injected more than $10 million into Peru's economy. We can wait to see the movie that will be released in June 2023!

APU PRODUCTIONS is the leading production company in Peru, with over 20 years of experience producing TV programs, feature films, commercials, documentaries and fashion shoots all over the country

There´s no request they can´t handle such as this one:

"Can you break a diopter and put in in a drone, and also make it rotate while the drone flies to see how it reacts to light. We want you to shoot it in Perdidos Canyon, and also at lake Junin at 13,400 ft."

In Peru they often get requests that are more demanding for equipment and crew due to the high altitude of the location. In this instance drones are very susceptible to higher altitudes. Luckily APU PRODUCTION has faves like the DJI Inpire 2 to make it all happen under complicated conditions.
